Hookworms’ debut release on 12” vinyl features 4 songs and clocks in at around 27 minutes. Sun Ark (who initially issued the release on tape) said this about it:

“Hookworms fling themselves headlong into classic 80’s/90’s psych-rock like they’re trying to break something. Hailing from Leeds and cramming themselves giddily within the well established formal properties of the genre, they walk the scorched road behind Loop, Spectrum, and any other titan of two-chord songs who’s ever slowly wah-ed a chord until they saw colors. Most excellent burners!”

Which pretty much nails it.

The first vinyl pressing was released jointly by Gringo and Faux Discx and sold out within a few months. The third pressing is now available (posting out 7th Nov 2014) and features three bonus tracks with the digital download: The Correspondent' (originally on Psych For Sore Eyes 7"), 'Form & Function' (Kogumaza split version) and rarity 'Deu'. We will be doing a CD version in early 2015!

1st pressing - 500 copies on heavyweight vinyl in a beautiful reverse-board sleeve featuring artwork by guitarist Jonny Wilkinson.
2nd pressing - 1000 copies, as above, but with three bonus tracks which only come with the vinyl.
3rd pressing - 1000 copies, as above, but with three bonus tracks which only come with the vinyl.
